This is the view from the flat - you can see Stonebarrow, Golden Cap (highest cliff on the south coast) and
the coast from Stonebrrow to Portland).
The new landslip is between Lyme and Charmouth, and is not visible from any properties in Lyme, but is easily seen from
the eastern end of the promenade near the church.
Come and see our new big landslip for your next holiday!
A landslip described as "the worst for 100 years" has destroyed
more than 400 metres (1,312 ft) of Dorset's World Heritage Jurassic Coast. A Coastguard spokeswoman said the site was "still rumbling" when crews left for
the night. It was too dark to see but work resumed at first light. Boulders "the size of cars" are still at risk of falling
onto the beach. The earth movement blocked a stretch of beach between Lyme Regis and Charmouth at 2031 BST on
Tuesday 6 May 2008.

View of the landslip from the eastern promenade, 7/5/08.
